Kirstie Alley is a classic example of a yo-yo dieter. Every time she loses weight, it seems like it is only a matter of time before she puts it all back on again, and has to start all over again from scratch.

However she has managed to keep some of this weight off in recent years, and there is no doubt that Kirstie Alley knows how to lose weight. So in many ways she was the perfect guest to have on The Dr Oz Show.

In the latest episode Dr Oz started off by quizzing her about her constant battles with her weight, and she was quick to point out that she hasn’t always had weight issues. It was only after she started baking a lot after becoming a mom that she started to pile on the pounds.

The pair then talked about a variety of topics during the rest of the show, including what kind of diet she uses when losing weight, and how her range of weight loss products can help people lose weight.

If you tuned in expecting to hear Kirstie Alley reveal some impressive weight loss secrets, then for the most part you will have been disappointed. She simply offered some common sense advice when buying food, and pointed out that she only consumes around 1500 calories per day when dieting.

This makes sense because I am aware of Diet To Go’s 1500 calorie meal plans, and this hugely popular diet food company have helped many Americans lose weight in recent years.

She also told Dr Oz that she uses her own brand of weight loss products that she developed with the help of some leading doctors and nutritionists. These are all part of the Kirstie Alley Organic Liaison Weight Loss Program.

These products include the Rescue Me elixir, which is filled with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, and is said to reduce the appetite, boost energy levels and support the metabolism of fat.

This certainly appears to be the best product in Kirstie Alley’s range of weight loss products. However dieters can also use the Relieve Me and Release Me products whilst dieting.

For more information on all of these products, you might want to check out the full range of products on Amazon.com.

So did we learn that much about Kirstie Alley’s weight loss secrets on The Dr Oz Show?

Well not really because most of what she said was common sense. In fact in some ways it was a vehicle for Kirstie to promote her range of weight loss products. However if you do get the chance to watch it again, there were a few bits of useful advice.
