I want to discuss the best fitness DVDs for men in this article because most of the fitness DVDs that come onto the market in December and January tend to be targeted specifically towards women. Therefore the mens’ exercise workouts are often overshadowed to some extent.

However I have noticed that this trend is slowly changing because I think it was last year that Ryan Giggs brought out his own workout DVD, and this year it looks as if David Haye and Gareth Thomas are both bringing out their own products as well.

Both of these new releases have a release date of December 31st 2012, and they both look pretty impressive judging by some of the preview videos.

However the one that impresses me the most is the David Haye workout, and it seems as if I’m not alone either because this is already one of the top-selling fitness DVDs on Amazon.co.uk (based on pre-orders) and it hasn’t even been released yet.

David Haye’s Box & Tone DVD is a fitness workout that combines various different elements of boxing training, as you might expect from a former heavyweight champion of the world, and it is designed to not only improve your fitness, but also to build muscle tone and strength.

It includes six different workouts altogether, each of which focuses on different areas, and you can choose to perform whichever ones you want (or all of them if you so wish).

If you watched I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! recently, you will know that David Haye has an absolutely perfect body, which is the result of 20 years training.

He has included many of his training programs in this DVD, so you might want to check it out if you want to develop a similar body yourself.

You can either pre-order it now from Amazon.co.uk, or wait until it’s released on December 31st 2012.

Gareth Thomas – The 7 Day Fitness Plan is the other DVD that I mentioned from rugby star Gareth Thomas, and this one looks to be targeted towards both men and women. It is designed purely to build your fitness, and more specifically, to improve your fitness levels in just 7 days.

It is 78 minutes long and includes seven different workouts, which is obviously one for each day of the week. Each one is supposed to be very easy to follow, and is no more than around 10-15 minutes long.

You can find out more about this exercise DVD by checking out this Gareth Thomas 7 Day Fitness Plan DVD listing on Amazon.

It is hard to say that these are the best fitness DVDs for men in the UK in the forthcoming 2012 / 2013 weight loss season because they have very little competition.

However to be fair, both workouts do look very effective based on a few of the clips that I have seen, so they could turn out to be a great investment.
